ABOUT US

Welcome to our theatre production company! We specialize in producing innovative and experimental plays. Our goal is to push the boundaries of theatre and to create powerful and thought provoking productions.

Our vision has always been to push the figurative fourth wall and believe to not only promote out of the box content but believe that there is no box.

We strive to push our literary boundaries be it through theatre, prose or poems. Our focus lies in celebrating stories and literature using theatre as a medium. The purpose of our activities, be it plays, poetry recitation, an event or a theatre festival is to showcase our rich cultural heritage to the 'rasikjanas'. Through various art forms we create an appreciation and awakening of our rich cultural heritage among our people and especially our younger generation.

This idea has actually been strengthened by the growth in alternative venues. In this world where the audience is spoilt for choice in digital entertainment and the dearth of live venues has become a concern, new venues and small intimate audiences drive us. We aim to reach at all such places with our ideas and plays. Our Theatre model in today's day and age primarily revolves around minimalism. We call it the 'Traveling Theatre'. Bare minimum setting with really strong performances is our USP. We have performed hugely successful monologues in restaurants, small alternate venues like G5A, Ouroboros, Studio Tamaasha and even the Sabarmati Ashram, Jails, Siachen valley! This vast coverage is a testament to our belief that interesting ideas can be scaled into economically viable productions.

While truly appreciating an artist's work, it is important to understand the kind of philosophy one follows. The most influential philosophies which have molded our sense of art would be those by Socrates, Karl Marx, Bhamasha, Mahatma Gandhi and many other prominent people in our history.

Over the years we have attempted to adapt the works of some of the most influential authors Rabindranath, Karl Marx, Bhartuhari, Siddharshi Gani, Mahatma Gandhi, Shrimad Rajchandra.

But most importantly in our 18 years of journey as a production house, we are trying to encompass values which pertain to both the classes and the masses.
